and walk to “Pumpkin Bluff” Go to your right and walk to Pelican Beach Bar & Grill. Plenty of seashells
and wildlife to see both ways.
Datai Villa has two ocean kayaks to
enjoy. We have an assortment of Life Vests at the Villa (Please wear them while kayaking) It is safe to
kayak anywhere INSIDE the reef. Do not go over the reef and try and stay back at 20 yards from the
breaking water at the reef for your safety and the reef’s safety. Swimming and snorkeling off the
beaches is fun and safe.
When you get to Datai ask Spot to show you how to open
up a coconut. The brown ones that dropped recently offer coconut water and fresh hard “grateable”
coconut that you can enjoy like candy. The Green ones (would need to be “harvested off the Palm tree”
offer coconut milk and a soft “slushy” coconut that mixed with some Bamabra Rum (TCI’s local Rum)
makes the best Pina Colada ever… No Joke.
Presently we have two E-Bikes at Datai (as of Jan 2021), and we will have access to
20 more as of 12-1-2021. Talk with Spot about renting, riding and charging. They are the most amazing
way to tour the island and see different beaches, flamingos in the wild, and just explore or go to the
market or grab a quick bite. E-Bike’s allow you to get around in nature and enjoy the day. Note: Be

Datai Villa has an 18’ Hobie Cat that can be rented. Seats 4 adults or 5/6 smaller
persons. Again, ask Spot for assistance. We will require a waiver of liability and experience using. If you
want to learn we can offer a guide and training from Desmond. You would need to coordinate with
Desmond Island Tours beforehand.
While enjoying the outdoors keep a lookout for Pelican’s, Ospreys and Flamingos. In the
water, Dolphins and Sea Turtles can be spotted right from the beach on occasion. The beauty of North
Caicos is everywhere and at night the stars are brighter and more amazing than Hollywood could ever
conjure up! Flamingo Pond and the Salt Ponds on the way to Three Mary Cay’s offer excellent
opportunities to spot Flamingos in the wild – so fun!
This is a beautiful location a short drive or Bike ride from the Datai that offers
excellent photography opportunities and great snorkeling from the beach
At Datai Villa we have a selection of 7 golf
putters and an assortment of golf balls. Take them to Horsestable beach right next to the community
center on the beach in a grove of pine tree’s is “Lovies Course”. This is an amazing 18-hole putt putt
course built by Lovie. He is a local North Caicos treasure and all-around amazing person. He single
handedly built this course for locals and tourists alike to play. (You just need to bring your ball and
putter). Lovie has designed the course with Conch Shells marking the holes 1 thru 18 and he regularly
tries to rake the sand to make the conditions “Augusta National” perfect. It takes about 25-30 min to
play a round and is super fun and situated on beautiful Horsestable Beach. Please be sure to bring back
the equipment for the next guests to enjoy. It’s great family fun for all ages.
Pretty self-explanatory, Island time on North is some of the best time ever. The weather,
natural beauty of North and trade winds all combine to create the most amazing time ever have all you
need to do is embrace it and “add your loved ones”.
Mudjin Harbor offer amazing views
of Dragon Cay” from cliffs high above the water. Hike the trail and visit the “Praying Hands” and
continue on to “Hidden Beach”. Such a fun 10-15 min hike.
Visit these two natural wonders on Middle Caicos.
Indian cave is a smaller system of caves that can be explored relatively quickly while Conch Bar is a much
more significant cave system. Be sure to check them out as you plan a day trip to Bambarra Beach.
